Microsoft Passport: Unsecure?

How's that for an inflamatory title for a blog post? ;)

Here's the deal... I'm on a few betas with MS right now, so I'm forced to use that nasty MSN Passport thingy here and there. Am I the ONLY person that's noticed that regardless of which browser I use (FF or IE), Passport REFUSES to sign me in automatically? I've SET it more times than I care to admit (the definition of insanity is tryinig the same thing over and over again - expecting different results), yet it simply won't auto-log me in.

Of course, that just means that it's broken. But you can't TELL me that it's broken like this and nobody at MS knows (unless I'm the ONLY one that has this problem). If I'm NOT the only one that has this problem, then I'd venture to guess that MS has some worries about security?
