Very cool news about IIS7


Wow, IIS7 sounds like it is shaping up to be awesome.

Honestly, it sounds like it is going to deliver on everything I would want it to do. Allowing the entire pipeline to be managed is KILLER. Seriously, having all of the config take place in a single file for a site is going to be HUGE.

It also means that I'll be able to take ReverseDOS to the next level -- and instead of throwing 403 errors, for example, to referrer spammers, I'll just be able to 100% deny the connection (or so I would hope).

I honestly can't wait to get my hands on IIS7 (thanks again to Brian who hooked me up with the Longhorn Beta).
