ToolPanel Alpha Release is Here!

All'z I can say is that it's about time.

This pig has been a long time in the making. I'm actually pretty happy with all the feature creep that I allowed into this pig... it's become one hell of a spiffy tool.

The binaries and source are now available for download... just head over to the main ToolPanel page and nav your way into the downloads section.

What's missing you ask? (both of you that is -- hi mom!)
Well, the help/docs/.chm still needs some work, and there's not much in the way of how to use the stupid thing. Other than that, it's feature complete and should be ready for use. i.e. this is an alpha release, meaning that the only thing between it and a full-blown release is testing and bug-sqaursching.

I'll be updating the tutorial in the ToolPanel section of the site over the next few days... and that should make it easier for people to take the plunge and begin using this PIG!!! Once that happens there will probably be a few small bugs here and there.. and I may need to change some of the factors a bit.. then it's on to world domination.

   I'm not 100% clear on what ToolPanel does, or what it is used for. I see that it's an ASP.NET Server control, but there's no live examples that I can find, or a synopsis spelling out what the goal/aim of this tool is. Although I'm sure it's cool! :-)

   Hey Scott....

Yeah, that's cuz I need to start the PIMP part of my efforts. I'm working on some example pages and will have them done in the next few days, as well as a tutorial that will show a bit about how to quickly come up to speed. Once you see what they do, and what they're capable of, using them will be a snap.

The only example I've got right now is on the main toolpanel page (linked in the post)... you can see it if you mouse over the great-big WHAT? on the main ToolPanel page of my site....
