Updated Links


Well, I've added a PC / Workstation link section to my collection of links on this site.

Like many of my links, there's a good chance everyone has heard of a few of these sites, but my hunch is that anyone could easily find a resource they didn't know about before. My hunch is that this will be true for this new section of links.

BlackViper.com has been one that I've used probably the most. His overview of winXP Pro services is invaluable, and I've used it to create my own list of which services are safe to shut down on my machine (and I use that list each time I FDisk, which is every few months). Aaron Margosis' Blog is also another great resource -- if you're inclined to run as non-admin.

So, run over and check out the new links.

   Any chance I could get that list from you? I mean, I'm pretty sure about shutting down the iPod service (thanks, Apple), but there are many I'm not sure of.
